Blue Boogie Boys

The Blue Boogie Boys are a brand new Augsburg combo, which was especially formed to play for dancers. They are a 50s Rock'n'Roll dance band, Boogie is their specialty and its musicians are experienced and known in the Rock'n'Roll and Swing dance community. With Hank and Ace from the band CADCATZ and Günther Steininger from the MYSTERY HOT CLUB QUINTETT real pros will be on stage and get you to dance. Get ready for Rock’n’Roll Hits by Ricky Nelson, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry and many more!

Die Blue Boogie Boys sind eine 50’s Rock'n'Roll Tanzkapelle, Boogie ist Programm und die Musiker haben viel Erfahrung in der Rock'n'Roll- und Swing-Szene. Mit Hank und Ace von den CADCATZ und Günther Steininger vom MYSTERY HOT CLUB QUINTETT sind hier echte Profis für das Tanzbein am Werk. Rock’n’Roll Hits von Ricky Nelson, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry und vielen anderen!

Originally, the event was scheduled with Carla & The Great Balls on Fire. Unfortunately, they had to cancel due to health reasons.

We're happy to announce that The WyattChristmas Five are available on this date and will be performing instead!

​​Three four five…! This band has been active for twelve years now 

and in this time a trio has become a five-piece-band, The WyattChristmas Five. Since the start in 2010, not only the sound has changed, but also the complete line-up: Only the founder and songwriter Andy WyattChristmas is left as the original member. Peter Kühn (harp, guitar and vocals) joined in 2015, followed by Martina Jansen on piano in 2017, Olaf Schumacher on double bass and Philip Flottau on drums,

The five musicians create a brilliant blaze of music in style of blues, swing and rockabilly in an extremely varied and danceable form! Harmony vocals, boogie-woogie piano, driving shuffle groove, blues harp and a very flexible lead guitar give the band all the possibilities to shoot their bullets of creative improvisiation (Wyatt Earp sends his regards) …

The WyattChristmas Five are regularly on the road in Germany and the neighboring countries to provide stylish sound. The band has played at Firebirds Festival (GER), Bethune Retro (FR), Rollin’ Dudes (AT), Moersquake (GER), Feel The 50ies (NL), Walldorf Weekender (GER), Rockin‘ Around The Christmas Tree (GER) and many other events. Four albums on Part Records and one EP are on the books – the new longplayer „Are You Ready?“ has just been released.

Wir freuen uns aber sehr, dass The WyattChristmas Five an diesem Termin verfügbar sind und stattdessen für uns spielen werden!

Three four five…! Aus dem Trio von 2010 ist längst eine eingespielte Fünfer-Formation geworden: The WyattChristmas Five. Gründer und Songwriter Andy WyattChristmas ist das letzte verbliebene Originalmitglied. Seitdem kamen Peter Kühn (Harp, Gitarre, Gesang), Martina Jansen (Piano), Olaf Schumacher (Kontrabass) und Philip Flottau (Drums) dazu.

Die Band verbindet Blues, Swing und Rockabilly zu einem abwechslungsreichen, tanzbaren Sound – mit Harmoniegesang, Boogie-Woogie-Piano, treibendem Shuffle, Bluesharp und flexibler Leadgitarre. Musikalische Kreativität und Improvisation stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt (Wyatt Earp lässt grüßen!).

The WyattChristmas Five sind regelmäßig auf Tour in Deutschland und den Nachbarländern und traten u. a. beim Firebirds Festival, Bethune Retro, Rollin’ Dudes und Walldorf Weekender auf. Mit vier Alben und einer EP auf Part Records ist nun ihr neuer Longplayer „Are You Ready?“ erschienen.

DJ Killer Boogie

Marcus Koch, besser bekannt als DJ Killer Boogie, ist seit Jahrzehnten Teil der Szene – als Tänzer, Veranstalter und leidenschaftlicher DJ. Seine Sets sind eine Reise durch vertraute Klassiker und seltene Perlen, sorgfältig ausgewählt für die Tanzfläche. Ob Rhythm’n’Blues, Jivers, Northern Soul, Piano Boogie Woogie, Rockabilly, Classic Rock’n’Roll oder Gospel – bis hin zu 80s Rock’n’Roll und modernen Songs: Killer Boogie liebt Vielfalt mit Groove, Gefühl und Melodie. Seit vielen Jahren sorgt er regelmäßig beim legendären 50s Record Hop – einer Institution seit 1972 – für volle Tanzflächen. Musik, die inspiriert, überrascht und bewegt.
